CHAPTER CCLXXII. AN ACT FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE STATE GUARD-

Every commissioned officer before he enters upon the duties of his office, or exercising any command, shall take and subscribe before a justice of the peace the oath prescribed by the constitution of North Carolina.
