CHAPTER 208 AWN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF ALLE- GHANY COUNTY TO SELL THE OLD COURT-HOUSE AND LOT IN SAID COUNTY, AND ERECT A POOR-HOUSE. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

That the said board of commissioners are hereby authorized to apply any funds now on hand or due said county, arising from the sale of lots in the town of Sparta, to the purchase of a site and the erecting of a poor-house for said county.
