CHAPTER 206 AN ACT TO INCORPORATE THE EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA INSANE ASYLUM. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact :
The superintendent shall exercise exclusive direction and control over all the subordinate officers and employees engaged in the service and labors of the asylum, and in every case of misconduct may discharge such employees, as have been employed by himself or his predecessor, and shall report to the board of directors the misconduct of all other subordinates.
