CHAPTER 282 An act relating to graded schools in Guilford county. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact :

That all white children between the ages of six and twenty-one years, residents of such town, shall be entitled to [be] educate[d] at the white graded school free of charge ; and all colored children between the ages of six and twenty-one, residents of such town, shall be entitled to be educated at the colored graded school free of charge,
