CHAPTER 120 An act to ineorporate the town of Morganton and for other purposes. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
The commissioners shall provide separate cemeteries for the white and the colored people, and the fines and fees paid by the white people shall be used in that cemetery provided for them, and those paid by the black people in that cemetery provided for them, and the money accruing from sale of lots in said cemetery shall be used by the commissioners for the keeping up and improving said cemeteries after paying for the same.
