CHAPTER 527 An act to establish graded schools in the town of Rocky Mount, counties of Nash and Edgecombe. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
That the public school money which shall from time to time be collected under the general school law for public school purposes for the white and for the colored children in said territory shall be paid to said treasurer, and by him applied under the orders and directions of said board of trustees.
