CHAPTER 108 An act to revise and improve the public school system of North Carolina. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
The county board of education may provide foran institute for each race of at least one weeks duration annually, to be conducted by the county supervisor or some practical educator well qualified to give instruction on the branches taught in the publie schools and the best methods of teaching the same, and on the history and theory of education.
