CHAPTER 321 An act to provide a suitable garden for the North Carolina Institution for the education of the deaf and dumb and the blind at Raleigh. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

That the board of trustees of the North Carolina Institution for the education of the deaf and dumb and the blind, in the city of Raleigh be, and they are hereby authorized to exchange or sell a part or the whole of the lot lying west of the colored department of the said institution, now used for gardening purposes, and to secure with the proceeds property contiguous, whose soil is more suitable for gardening, if they deem it wise. Sc. 2 This act shall be in force from and after its ratification. Ratified the 8th day of March, A. D. 1897 z
