CHAPTER 782 An act to revise and consolidate the public school law. T he General Assembly of North Carolina do enact :
The township school trustees shall divide their respective townships into convenient school districts as compact in form as practicable. They shall consult the convenience and necessities of each race in setting the boundaries of the school district for said race, and shall create no district with less than sixty-five children of school age, unless prevented by geographical reasons or sparsely settled neighborhoods.
