CHAPTER 4 An Act to Revise and Consoliaate the Public School Law. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

That it shall be the duty of the County Superintendent of Public Instruction to require of the School Committee, in enumerating the number of school children, to make a statement in the report of the number of deaf, dumb and blind between the ages of six and twenty-one years, designating the race and sex, and the address of the parent or guardian of said children; and the County Superintendents of Public Instruction are hereby required to furnish such information to the principals of the deaf, dumb and blind institutions, and the Superintendent of Public Instruction, in preparing blanks, as directed in I’he Code, sec. 3370, shall include questions, answers to which will furnish the information as aforesaid.
