CHAPTER 299 AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR A GRADED SCHOOL IN THE TOWN OF WILLIAMSTON, N. C. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

That said Board of Graded School Trustees may, if in their judgment necessary for the maintenance of said graded schools, require from each pupil entered therein an incidental fee of not more than two dollars and fifty cents per annum, payable as said Board of Trustees may direct: Provided, that such fee shall be applied exclusively to the maintenance of such graded school as the pupil paying the same may attend.
