CHAPTER 556 AN ACT TO ESTABLISH THE MOORESVILLE GRADED SCHOOL DISTRICT. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

That all the territory embraced within the corporate limits of the town of Mooresville, Iredell County, and all that portion of Iredell County contiguous thereto embraced in the following boundaries: Beginning at the Davidson Township line near John Honeycutts, thence to John Honeycutts house; thence to the public road two hundred yards north of Bb. W. Brawleys tenanthouse, where J. P. Howell now lives; thence to Barringer Township line at David Oliphants; thence with boundary line of District Number Three, known as Oak Grove District; thence with Linwood District Number Five, to the line of Hickory Hill District; thence with Hickory Hill District Number Four to Mount Mourne District Number One, Davidson Township; thence with said line to Davidson Township line; thence with said line to the beginning shall be and is hereby constituted a school district for white and colored children, to be known as The Mooresville Graded School District.
