CHAPTER 556 AN ACT TO ESTABLISH THE MOORESVILLE GRADED SCHOOL DISTRICT. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

The board of graded school trustees may establish graded public schools for the white and colored children of said graded school district, and said board of trustees shall appropriate and use the funds derived from special taxes and from other sources in such manner as they may deem just to both races.
