CHAPTER 468 AN ACT TO ESTABLISH MOUNT HOLLY SUPPLEMENTAL SCHOOL DISTRICT, IN COLUMBUS COUNTY. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
That the special taxes thus levied and collected from the taxable property and polls of said school district shall be expended in keeping up public schools in said district for the white and colored races of both sexes between the ages of six and twenty-one (6 and 21) years of age, and the said special tax shall be so used and expended so as to give to the children of each race an equal number of months of school. 7
