CHAPTER 180 AN ACT TO REVISE THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF WIN- STON AND THE CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF SALEM, AND TO ADOPT A CHARTER FOR THE CITY OF WINSTON- SALEM. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
That no mayor or alderman or other officer of the city government shall, directly or indirectly, become a contractor for work to be done by the city, and any person herein offending shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
