CHAPTER 509 AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR SEPARATE SCHOOLS FOR THE CROATAN INDIANS OF SAMPSON COUNTY. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
That to said Croatan Indian schools shall be annually apportioned their pro rata part of the public school funds of the county, including their pro rata part of fines, forfeitures, penalties, and funds derived from the State and other sources whatsoever, so that they may share equally with the other races of the county according to their requirements and the grade of their schools, as now provided for the apportionment of the school funds between the white and colored race in Sampson County.
