CHAPTER 179 AN ACT RELATING TO THE CHILDRENS HOME IN BUNCOMBH COUNTY. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

That section one of chapter two hundred and sixtynine of the Public-Local Laws of one thousand nine hundred and fifteen be and the same is hereby stricken out and the following inserted in lieu thereof: That the board of county commissioners of Buncombe County, upon the written request of the board of directors of the Childrens Home of said county, are hereby authorized and empowered to sell the whole or any part of the property owned and held by said county as a childrens home, upon such terms and at such price as to such commissioners may seem just and reasonable: Provided however, a portion of such property is sold that the proceeds of such sale shall be immediately expended on the remainder of such property, in the construction of a suitable building or buildings, for-the maintenance and support of the indigent white children of said county.
