CHAPTER 134 AN ACT TO REPEAL CHAPTER 513 OF THE SESSION LAWS OF 1951, AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE ELECTION OF MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE SANFORD GRADED SCHOOL DISTRICT. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Regular elections to the Board of Trustees of the Sanford Graded School District shall be held biennially on the second Saturday after the first Monday in May, beginning in 1967 At the municipal election to be held in the City of Sanford on the second Saturday after the first Monday in May 1967, there shall be elected by the qualified voters of the Sanford Graded School District three Trustees to serve for a term of six years; and at said election on the second Saturday after the first Monday in May 1969, there shall be elected two Trustees of said School District to serve for a term of six years; and at said election on the second Saturday after the first Monday in May 1971, there shall be elected two Trustees to serve for a term of six years; and thereafter as their terms respectively expire their successors shall be elected for a term of six years. The Trustees so elected shall be inducted into office on July 1 next following their election, unless said date falls on Sunday, in which event said Trustees shall be inducted into office on the following Monday. 191
