CHAPTER 16 AN ACT TO AMEND THE MOTOR VEHICLE LAWS G. S. 20-16(c) TO REMOVE VIOLATIONS OF THE SAFETY EQUIPMENT INSPEC- TION REQUIREMENTS FROM THE OPERATORS LICENSE POINT SYSTEM. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
G. S. 20-16(c), as same appears in Volume 1C, 1965 Replacement Volume of the General Statutes, is hereby amended by adding at the end of line eight thereof immediately following the word laws the following sentence: Further, any points heretofore charged for violation of the motor vehicle inspection laws shall not be considered by the Department of Motor Vehicles as a basis for suspension or revocation of operators or chauffeurs license:.
