CHAPTER 170 AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 897 OF THE SESSION LAWS OF 1959 RELATING TO THE SALARY OF THE OFFICIALS IN THE TOWN OF BROADWAY IN LEE COUNTY. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
Chapter 548 of the Session Laws of 1947 is hereby further amended by inserting therein a new 3% to read as follows: The Mayor of the Town of Broadway, in Lee County, shall receive as compensation for performing the duties of his office, the sum of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per month. The members of the Board of Commissioners from the said Town shall receive as compensation for their services, the sum of ten dollars ($10.00) per month.
