CHAPTER 20 AN ACT TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE TOWN OF AULANDER FROM THREE TO FIVE, AND TO FIX THE COMPENSATION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMISSIONERS. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Chapter 288 of the Public-Local Laws of 1939 is hereby amended as follows: (a) Section 3 is amended by striking out the word three and substituting the word five in lieu thereof in line 1 (b) Section 4 is amended by striking out the word three and substituting the word five in lieu thereof in line 2 (c) Section 6 is amended by striking out the word five in lines 15 and 23 and substituting the word ten in each place in lieu thereof. (d) Section 9 is amended by striking out the word and figure three (3) in next to the last line and substituting the word four in lieu thereof. (e) Section 20 is hereby amended by striking out the word three and substituting the word five in lieu thereof in line 1
