CHAPTER 20 AN ACT TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE TOWN OF AULANDER FROM THREE TO FIVE, AND TO FIX THE COMPENSATION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMISSIONERS. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

It is the intent and purpose of Section 1 of this Act to increase the membership of the Board of Commissioners of Aulander from three to five commencing with the regular municipal election to be held in Aulander in 1967, to the end that five town commissioners and a mayor shall be elected biennially hereafter, to take office on July 1 succeeding each biennial election. 56
