CHAPTER 200 AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 511, SESSION LAWS OF 1951, TO PROVIDE FOR THE ELECTION OF MAYOR AND COMMISSIONERS IN THE TOWN OF WHITE LAKE. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Chapter 511, Session Laws of 1951, is hereby amended by rewriting Section 3 thereof to read as follows: Sec. 3 The governing body of the Town of White Lake shall consist of a mayor and three commissioners, to be elected by the qualified voters of the municipality. Any person who is a qualified voter under the Constitution of North Carolina shall be eligible to hold office and to vote in all municipal elections. The present members of the board of commissioners and: the mayor shall hold office until their successors are elected and qualified as herein provided.
