CHAPTER 201 AN ACT TO AMEND G. S. 20-38(20)d CLARIFYING DEFINITION OF MOTORCYCLE. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

G. S. 20-38(20)d, as same appears in the 1965 Replacement Volume 1C of the General Statutes, is hereby rewritten to read as follows: d. Motorcycle Every motor vehicle having a saddle for the use of the rider and designed to travel on not more than three wheels in contact with the ground, including motor scooters and motor-driven bicycles, but excluding tractors and utility vehicles equipped with an additional form of device designed to transport property, and three-wheeled vehicles while being used by law enforcement agencies.
