CHAPTER 222 AN ACT TO AMEND ARTICLE 8, CHAPTER 18, OF THE GENERAL STATUTES, SO AS TO PERMIT THE TRANSPORTATION, POSSESSION AND CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES FOR PERSONAL USE. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
Section 15 of Chapter 18 of the General Statutes of North Carolina is hereby amended by changing the . at the end of said Section to a ; and adding the following: provided, however, this Section shall not prohibit the storage of any form of intoxicating liquor that is specifically authorized or permitted by Article 3, the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act of 1937, as amended.
