CHAPTER 229 AN ACT TO PREVENT THE TAKING OF DEER ON BLACK RIVER WITH THE AID OF BOATS IN PENDER COUNTY. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to take or attempt to take or kill or attempt to kill any deer in or within one hundred yards of Black River, at any and every point where Black River is located in Pender County, with the aid of any boat or other floating device; provided this Act will not prohibit the transportation of hunters or their legally taken game up, down or across Black River.
