CHAPTER 235 AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE SHERIFF OF CURRITUCK COUNTY TO APPOINT DEPUTY SHERIFFS, AND TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO APPOINT DEPUTY TAX COLLECTORS, AND TO FIX THEIR COMPENSATION AND THE COMPENSATION OF THE SHERIFF AND DEPUTY SHERIFFS OF CURRITUCK COUNTY. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

All special and local Acts which deal in any manner with the appointment, salaries, fees and other compensation of deputy sheriffs and deputy tax collectors in Currituck County and its townships, or which deal with the salary, fees and other compensation of the Sheriff of Currituck County in any manner, and specifically Chapter 383, Public-Local Laws of 1925, Chapter 62, Public-Local Laws of 1929, Chapter 27, Public-Local Laws of 1933, Chapter 13, Public-Local Laws of 1935, Chapter 119, Public-Local Laws of 1935, Chapter 101, Public-Local Laws of 1939, Chapter 256, Public-Local Laws of 1941, Chapters 8, 38, 42, 83 and 243, Session Laws of 1943, Chapters 330 and 987, Session Laws of 1945, Chapters 542 and 815, Session Laws of 1947, Chapter 438, Session Laws of 1949, Chapters 141, 882 and 956, Session Laws of 1951, Chapter 546, Session Laws of 1953, Chapter 1134, Session Laws of 1957, Chapter 956, Session Laws of 1959 and Chapter 1125, Session Laws of 1961, are hereby repealed.
