CHAPTER 261 AN ACT TO REORGANIZE AND MERGE THE ANSON COUNTY AD- MINISTRATIVE SCHOOL UNIT, THE WADESBORO CITY SCHOOL ADMINISTRATIVE UNIT AND THE MORVEN CITY SCHOOL AD- MINISTRATIVE UNIT INTO ONE SCHOOL ADMINISTRATIVE UNIT UNDER ONE BOARD OF EDUCATION FOR ALL THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN ANSON COUNTY. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
On and after July 1, 1967, the Wadesboro City Board of Education shall cease to exist and the terms of office of the members of its Board of Education shall end and terminate, and said Wadesboro City Board of Education shall no longer operate and administer any of the public schools in the Wadesboro City Administrative Unit. On and after July 1, 1967, the Morven City Board of Education shall cease to exist and the terms of office of the members of its Board of Education shall end and terminate, and said Morven City Board of Education shall no longer operate and administer any of the public schools in the Morven City Administrative Unit.
