CHAPTER 279 AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION TO CONVERT THE ONSLOW COUNTY INDUSTRIAL EDUCATION CENTER TO A TECHNICAL INSTITUTE AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE FINANCIAL SUPPORT THEREOF. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

The Onslow County Board of Education is authorized to transfer without compensation to the Board of Trustees of the Onslow County Industrial Education Center the title to any real and personal property held by the Board of Education as the two boards may agree upon, either before or after the institution is converted to a technical institute.

The On the Books website is a product of a digital scholarship project and will not be maintained in perpetuity. The site will be reviewed December 31, 2024. Depending on use, funding, and maintenance required, the site may be decommissioned and archived at that time.
