CHAPTER 322 AN ACT TO FIX THE NUMBER OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE TOWN OF HUDSON AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE NOMINATION AND ELECTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMISSIONERS. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Any qualified voter of the Town of Hudson who desires to seek the office of either Mayor or Commissioner shall present his intent to become a candidate signed by him and accompanied by a petition signed by at least 15 qualified voters of the town. No person will be permitted to file for election after five oclock p. m. on the second Friday before the general election held on Tuesday after the first Monday in May. No person shall be qualified to run for office in the Town of Hudson unless he is a qualified voter of the town.
