CHAPTER 328 AN ACT AMENDING CHAPTER 251 OF THE PUBLIC-LOCAL LAWS OF 1937 RELATING TO THE ROWAN COUNTY AUDITOR. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 2 of Chapter 251 of the Public-Local Laws of 1939 is hereby rewritten to read as follows: Commencing on the first Monday in December 1970, and biennially thereafter, the Auditor of Rowan County shall be appointed by the Board of County Commissioners of Rowan County for a two-year term. Any vacancy in the office of Auditor shall be filled by the Board of County Commissioners for the unexpired term.
