CHAPTER 337 AN ACT AMENDING CHAPTER 391, SESSION LAWS OF 1955, RE- LATING TO THE SALARIES OF THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF HIGH POINT. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
That Chapter 391, Section 2, Session Laws of 1955, is hereby amended to read as follows: The compensation of the Mayor of the City of High Point shall be a salary of three thousand dollars ($3,000.00) per year, payable from the general fund in 12 equal monthly installments. The compensation of each member of the City Council shall be a salary of one thousand eight hundred dollars ($1,800.00) per year, payable from the general fund in 12 equal monthly installments. 364
