CHAPTER 368 AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 684 OF THE SESSION LAWS OF 1947 RELATING TO COMPENSATION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMIS- SIONERS OF THE CITY OF KINGS MOUNTAIN. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
Section 3 of Chapter 684 of the Session Laws of 1947, as rewritten by Chapter 72 of the Session Laws of 1957, is hereby rewritten to read as follows: Sec. 8 The salary of the Mayor shall be eight thousand five hundred dollars ($8,500.00) per annum, payable in monthly installments. The salary of each member of the Board of Commissioners shall be seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per month. G. S. 160-28 shall not apply to the City of Kings Mountain.
