CHAPTER 371 AN ACT TO FIX THE COMPENSATION OF CERTAIN OFFICIALS OF McDOWELL COUNTY AND TO REPEAL CHAPTER 893, SESSION LAWS OF 1959, AS AMENDED. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
The Register of Deeds of McDowell County shall receive as compensation for his services an annual salary to be fixed by the Board 396 of County Commissioners of said county in an amount of not less than four thousand six hundred dollars ($4,600.00) nor more than six thousand one hundred dollars ($6,100.00), payable monthly out of the general fund of said county. The salary fixed for the Register of Deeds shall be in full compensation for all services rendered by him and all other duties which are now or may hereafter be imposed on him by virtue of his office as Register of Deeds.
