CHAPTER 387 AN ACT RELATING TO TEMPORARY QUARTERS FOR GOVERN- MENTAL AGENCIES OF LEE COUNTY, PENDING THE CON- STRUCTION OF A NEW, OR REPAIRS TO THE EXISTING, COURT- HOUSE. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Lee County is contemplating substantial repairs to the existing courthouse or construc- tion of a new courthouse; and WHEREAS, it will be necessary to establish temporary quarters and acquire additional space for governmental functions of Lee County during the period of construction or repairs; and WHEREAS, this will necessitate securing temporary quarters for Lee County governmental purposes: Now, therefore, The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
The powers herein granted shall continue in full force until the new courthouse is constructed, or repairs to the existing courthouse are completed and accepted by the County and occupied by the various County officials, offices and agencies.
