CHAPTER 391 AN ACT TO REWRITE ARTICLE II, SECTION 28, OF THE CONSTITU- TION OF NORTH CAROLINA WITH RESPECT TO THE COMPEN- SATION OF MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

At that election, the qualified voters favoring the amendment set out in Section 1 of this Act shall vote ballots on which shall be printed or written the words FOR constitutional amendment establishing procedure for fixing compensation of members and officers of the General Assembly, and denying benefit of any increase in compensation to members of Session which enacts it, and those voters opposed shall vote ballots on which shall be printed or written the words: AGAINST constitutional amendment establishing procedure for fixing compensation of members and officers of the General Assembly, and denying benefit of any increase in compensation to members of Session which enacts it.
