CHAPTER 41 AN ACT TO EXEMPT ADMINISTRATORS APPOINTED FOR THE PURPOSE OF BRINGING AN ACTION FOR WRONGFUL DEATH FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF FURNISHING A BOND. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

G. S. 28-34 and G. S. 28-49 are both hereby amended by adding the following new paragraph to each: No provision in this Chapter shall be construed as requiring a bond of an administrator appointed solely for the purpose of bringing an action for the wrongful death of the deceased; such administrator shall be exempt from the requirements of a bond until such time as he shall receive property into the estate of the deceased.
