CHAPTER 424 AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE FILLING OF VACANCIES ON THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DARE COUNTY. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
The Board of County Commissioners of Dare County, before fillmg any vacancy in said Board, shall seek the recommendation of the County Executive Committee of the party whose member caused the vacancy on the Board but the recommendation of the County Executive Committee shall not be binding upon the Board of Commissioners in filling a vacancy. 440
