CHAPTER 429 AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE TOWN OF WALLACE TO SELL CERTAIN SURPLUS REAL PROPERTY AND TO REPEAL CHAPTER 708 OF THE 1961 SESSION LAWS. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

The governing body of the Town of Wallace is hereby empowered and authorized to sell at the best terms and for the best price obtainable real property located on West Railroad Street and presently used for library facilities for said town. Said sale may be made at or 442 conducted at public auction after such time and method of advertising or notices that the governing body shall deem best or if the governing body of the Town of Wallace considers it wise and proper to do so, it may sell the same at private sale. The governing body of the Town of Wallace shall be authorized to execute said sale and is authorized to sell same by the method of deferred payments and to secure any deferred or installment payments by the first mortgage or a deed of trust from the purchaser.
