CHAPTER 432 AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE ASHE COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCA- TION TO CONVEY TO THE TOWN OF WEST JEFFERSON CERTAIN PROPERTY TO BE USED FOR COMMUNITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the Ashe County Board of Education owns certain property formerly known as a Community Building and which was once used for Community Center purposes; and WHEREAS, such property is not needed by said Board for school purposes; and 444 WHEREAS, said building has become somewhat dilapidated; and WHEREAS, the Town of West Jefferson desires to take over said building, place it in good repair, put a new roof on it, and install a suitable furnace; and WHEREAS, said Town desires to maintain and operate said building for community meetings and uses: Now, therefore, The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
