CHAPTER 435 AN ACT RELATING TO TEMPORARY COURTHOUSE QUARTERS FOR WATAUGA COUNTY PENDING THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW COURTHOUSE, AND TO A SITE FOR THE NEW COURT- HOUSE. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Watauga County proposes to construct a new courthouse and jail; and WHEREAS, it will be necessary to demolish the existing courthouse in order to build the new courthouse; and WHEREAS, this will necessitate securing temporary quarters for courthouse purposes: Now, therefore, The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
The powers herein granted shall continue in full force until the new courthouse is constructed, accepted by the county, and occupied by the various county officials, offices and agencies.
