CHAPTER 443 AN ACT TO AMEND G. S. 161-22 SO AS TO AUTHORIZE INDEXING DEEDS OF TRUST IN NAME OF GRANTOR AND TRUSTEE ONLY. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
That G. S. 161-22 be amended by adding a new paragraph at the end thereof to read as follows: Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary in this Section or elsewhere in the General Statutes of North Carolina, the register of deeds may index deeds of trust in the name of the grantor and the trustee only.
