CHAPTER 52 AN ACT TO CONFIRM, RATIFY AND VALIDATE CERTAIN CON- VEYANCES OF LANDS BY THE TOWN OF NEWPORT, CARTERET COUNTY. WHEREAS, the Town of Newport was authorized to convey certain lands by Chapter 86, Session Laws of 1955; and WHEREAS, the Town of Newport conveyed a portion of said lands to William H. Bell, Jr., by deed dated February 3, 1960, recorded in Book 204, page 540, in the office of the Register of Deeds of Carteret County; and WHEREAS, William H. Bell, Jr. and wife Bobbie J. Bell, conveyed certain lands to the Town of Newport by deed dated February 3, 1960, recorded in Book 204, page 587, office of the Register of Deeds of Carteret County, in exchange for the property conveyed to him by the Town of Newport; and WHEREAS, the Town of Newport conveyed the lands, received from William H. Bell, Jr. and wife, to Moses C. Howard by deed dated February 25, 1960, recorded in Book 205, page 417, office of the Register of Deeds of Carteret County: Now, therefore, The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
