CHAPTER 65 AN ACT TO CREATE THE GOVERNORS COMMITTEE ON LAW AND ORDER. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
Duties of the Committee. The Committee shall: 1 Coordinate the activities of responsible State and local law enforcement agencies. 2 Make studies and recommendations for the improvement of law enforcement and criminal justice. 3 Encourage public support and respect for law and order, and 4 Seek ways to continue to make North Carolina a safe and secure State for its citizens.
