CHAPTER 134 AN ACT TO REPEAL CHAPTER 513 OF THE SESSION LAWS OF 1951, AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE ELECTION OF MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE SANFORD GRADED SCHOOL DISTRICT. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Each qualified person who would offer himself as a candidate for the Board of Trustees of the Sanford Graded School District shall file with the Board of Elections of Lee County a written statement giving notice of his candidacy. Such statement shall be filed not earlier than the ninth Monday and not later than five oclock P.M. on the fifth Monday preceding the election at which he offers his candidacy, shall be accompanied by a filing fee of five dollars ($5.00), and shall be in substantially the following form: Glieee. wee tis) gal senna. ecm , do hereby give notice that I am a candidate for the election of the Board of Trustees of the Sanford Graded School District to be voted upon at the election to be held on _……..0……… EU PS ieee were eee eee ee , and I hereby request that my name be placed on the official ballot for such office.
