CHAPTER 267 AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 114 OF THE 1951 SESSION LAWS OF NORTH CAROLINA RELATING TO THE SHERIFFS FEES IN DUPLIN COUNTY. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
That Section 12 of Chapter 114 of the 1951 Session Laws of North Carolina be deleted in its entirety and that Section 12 thereof be amended to read as follows: Sec. 12 The Sheriffs fee for feeding each prisoner in jail shall be in the discretion of the Board of County Commissioners, retroactive to 1 July 1966 Such fee shall be paid to the Sheriff from the general fund of Duplin County and taxed to the prisoner in the bill of cost.
