CHAPTER 334 AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 466 OF THE SESSION LAWS OF 1959 RELATING TO SALARIES OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL- MEN OF THE CITY OF MONROE. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:
Section 1 of Chapter 466 of the Session Laws of 1959 is hereby amended by rewriting subsection -3 thereof to read as follows: (3) The salary of the Mayor shall be fixed by the City Council. The salary of each City Councilman shall be seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per month.
