CHAPTER 64 An act to incorporate Globe Academy in Caldwell county. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact :
That the faculty of said Globe Academy, by the advice and with the consent of the said trustees, shall have power to grant certificates of merit, diplomas, or other evidences of merit or proficiency in any of the departments of said school.
