CHAPTER 371 AN ACT TO FIX THE COMPENSATION OF CERTAIN OFFICIALS OF McDOWELL COUNTY AND TO REPEAL CHAPTER 893, SESSION LAWS OF 1959, AS AMENDED. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

The Clerk of Superior Court of McDowell County shall receive as compensation for his services an annual salary to be fixed by the Board of County Commissioners of said county in an amount of not less than four thousand six hundred dollars ($4,600.00) nor more than six thousand five hundred dollars ($6,500.00), payable monthly out of the general fund of said county. The salary fixed by the Board of County Commissioners shall be in full compensation for all services rendered by him as Juvenile Judge, Clerk of the County Criminal Court, and all other duties which are now or may hereafter be imposed on him by virtue of his office as Clerk of the Superior Court.
