CHAPTER 515 Anact to amend chapter sixty, section three, of the laws of eighteen hundred and eighty-nine. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

That persons of the Croatan race of either sex who are not under thirteen years of age may attend the normal school for the Croatans: Provided, that children not under eleven years of age may be admitted who can stand an approved examination in spelling, reading, writing, primary geography and the fundamental rules of arithmetic.
